Hand Beaded Macrame Necklace Piece de Resistance #Item33

Our friends at Pawsome Cats blog have conjured a magical piece of hand beaded work of superb quality for us to auction for Bootsie. Please, take a look at the three images here, and let me give you a guided tour of this lovely piece.

The colour scheme is autumnal and includes glass, crystal, seed and dagger beads in a profusion of invention. There is an honey gold beaded cabochon topaz rivoli featured at the front, with delicate tassels that end in dagger beads suspended below it. I believe it to be 'Princess length' i.e. about 18 ins / 45 cms. (I will confirm this).

The natural handmade clasp fits perfectly in with the organic feel and colour of this lovely piece. A you look, you can see how the rhythm of the beading changes as it moves around to the back. Even resting on a ladies neck, the back has an fascination and invention you will appreciate.
